Kumasi Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong converted a contentious penalty against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium to end a spell of five consecutive games without victory. The Porcupine Warriors were in danger of slipping further down the table after only picking-up a measly three-points in their last five games.

However, for the umpteenth time this season Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong scored a penalty to spare their blushes.

The game was very competitive with neither team holding back in 50-50 challenges which resulted in the referee dishing-out as many as seven yellow cards - three for the Porcupines and four for Dreams.

The game remained scoreless till the 88th minute when Kotoko winger Sarfo Gyamfi tumbled in the box. Captain fantastic Amos Frimpong kept his composure to hand the Porcupine Warriors all three points.
