Bofoakwa Tano CEO, Alex Ababio, has cast doubt on his team's participation in the upcoming FA Cup semifinal against Dreams FC.

The match, scheduled for May 12th at the Theatre of Dreams, might not see Bofoakwa Tano in action if the organizing committee does not cover their travel and lodging expenses.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Mr Ababio stressed the importance of the FA Cup committee funding their trip from Sunyani to Sogakope for the match.

"The FA Cup committee must fund our cost while travelling if they truly want us to honour our FA Cup match against Dreams FC in Sogakope. If not, there is no way we will be able to secure funding and make the trip from Sunyani to Sogakope."

Ababio expressed disagreement with the choice of venue, Sogakope, believing it favours Dreams FC over Bofoakwa Tano.

He recalled past incidents, suggesting bias against his team during matches held there, particularly referring to their previous encounter with Dreams FC.

While acknowledging the committee's support during the competition, Ababio deemed it insufficient, stating, "What matters is that, if they are willing to pay our bills, we can proceed, if not, I’m not sure we can honour the match. Even though they offer some financial assistance, it is still insufficient."
