Kumasi Asante Kotoko moved a step closer to the top of the Premier League table with an important 2-0 win over Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Carl Reindolf Park in Accra.
Liberty began the game on a high tempo with a disallowed goal but failed to hold on to their performance which allowed Kotoko into the match.
Dauda Mohammed took the lead for the visitors before Eric Donkor wrapped it up for the Porcupine Warriors.
The win moved them to fourth place on the log with just a point begind leaders Wa All Stars.
