MATCH REPORT: Hearts 1-0 Dwarfs - Phobians revive title bid courtesy Aguidi's late winner
Foovi Aguidi - Scored the winner for Hearts

Accra Hearts of Oak breathed life into their floundering bid for the Ghana Premier League title with a late winner in a 1-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The game saw stand-in coach Yaw Preko begin his tenure on a winning-note thanks to substitute Foovi Aguidi's late goal.

Preko made three changes to the Hearts starting line-up but they were unable yield the desired results in the first half.

Hearts started the game with the wasteful pair of Kenneth Okoro and Samuel Yeboah up-front.

Their profligacy was remedied in the 63rd minute when when Aguidi capitalised on sloppy defending in the Dwarfs defence to score the only goal of the game.

Hearts (45 points) moved to within three points of joint leaders WA All Stars and Aduana Stars who are tied on 48 points.
