Medeama Captain Bernard Ofori pleads with fans to remain calm

Captain of Medeama SC, Bernard Ofori has asked fans of the club to remain calm despite their back to back defeats in the Ghana Premier League.

 

Medeama were beaten at home by Ashantigold in the Ghana Premier League on Match day 18 after losing to Elmina Sharks a week earlier.

 

The Tarkwa based side are having a roller-coaster with some fans of the club not happy with the inconsistencies of the side.

 

Meanwhile, captain of the day Bernard Ofori who was speaking after their defeat to the miners promised the fans the club will bounce back strongly.

 

“Last week we lost to Elmina sharks and we came back to correct our flaws,” he said.

 

“I understand that supporters are not happy, but I am pleading with them to take it easy with us. We will do our best since we have more matches ahead to play,” he said.

 

Last season Medeama finished third and had a good campaign in the CAF Confederations cup.

 

Medeama are 9th on the League Log and will play Bechem United next weekend in the Ghana Premier League.
