Medeama defender Vincent Atinga attributes win over Bechem United to determination and hard work

Medeama defender Vincent Atinga has said his outfit were determined to secure the three maximum points against Bechem United on Monday.

The Yellow and Mauves inflicted a 2-1 win over the Hunters in matchday 30 of the Ghana Premier League at the Akoon Community Park.

Jonathan Sowah and Vincent Atinga scored two goals in the first half before Francis Acquah pulled one back for the visitors.

After the game, Atinga, who won the Man of the Match award attributed their win to determination and hard work.

“We were determined to win this game and we made it. We knew how important the game was for us. With determination and hard work we were able to pick the three points and now second on the table” he told StarTimes.

Aduana Stars lead at the top has been reduced to just two points with Medeama in hot pursuit. The fire boys have 52 points whiles Medeama have 50 points.

Medeama will travel to Accra to face Hearts of Oak in week 31 of the top-flight.
