In the challenging pursuit of glory in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League, Medeama's aspirations face a financial hurdle, according to their bankroller, Moses Parker.

Expressing the difficulties in sustaining the campaign, Parker emphasized the crucial need for substantial financial support. Despite grappling with the financial strains, he conveyed optimism about forthcoming pledges materializing.

In an exclusive statement, Parker redirected the focus away from monetary concerns, urging the team to concentrate on their upcoming clash against CR Belouizdad.

However, amidst the financial struggles, a glimmer of support emerged as Parker revealed that Goldfields Ghana had provided a significant boost by contributing $100,000 for their pivotal trip to face Al Ahly.

"It is not easy but we are waiting we have returned Goldfields gave us 100,00 USD for our trip and the money has finished that is what we used to prepare for the first game," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"We were waiting for CAF to give us something but till date we have received nothing we hope that other money that we should get will come.

"We are still preparing we haven't given anybody pressure I don't want to talk plenty about money we want to concentrate on the match to bring glory to Ghana as we are determined to be victorious that is what we are focused on,"
