Ghana Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club (SC) has confirmed that they have lined up a friendly match against Lower Division side FC Samartex this weekend.
The pre-season friendly match is expected to help the two clubs prepare for the start of the upcoming 2019/2020 Domestic League season which is just around the corner.
For Medeama, they have recruited a couple of players and now have talisman Akwesi Donsu in camp after returning from his loan spell in the USA.
Coach Samuel Boadu will have the opportunity to assess the strength and weaknesses of his team and try to do the necessary requirement before the Ghana Premier League kicks off later this month.
For Samartex, they are bent on enjoying a successful campaign in the next season as they target securing qualification to the top-flight very soon.
The match between Medeama SC and FC Samartex will be played on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Samertex Park. Kick off is at 15:00GMT
