The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the shortlist of goalkeepers for the May/June Goalkeeper of the Month award.
Only one award will be given out to the best goalkeeper from the two months which saw the end of the season.
Goalkeepers shortlisted for the award include Medeama SC shot-stopper Felix Kyei and three others.
“Four outstanding shot stoppers have been nominated for the Goalkeeper of the month award for May/June, 2023.
Champions, Medeama SC’ goalkeeper Felix Kyei has been nominated alongside Solomon Agbasi of Dreams FC, Benjamain Asare of Great Olympics and Abdul Ganiu Mohammed of Karela United,” a statement from the Ghana FA said on Friday, June 16.
The winner of the May/June goalkeeper of the season will be given an award.
This award scheme is an initiative of the Ghana Football Association in collaboration with the National Ex Goalkeepers Union to recognize and encourage shot-stoppers in the betPawa Premier League.
