Medeama SC to discover CAF Champions League group stage opponents on Friday, October 6

Medeama SC will discover their group opponents of the CAF Champions League on Friday, October 6, 2023.

The draw will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa and it will be live on the CAF Official website and CAF YouTube (CAFTV).

The Ghana Premier League champions booked their place in the group stage following the 4-3 aggregate scoreline against Guinean side, AC Horoya.

The Yellow and Mauve in the first leg recorded a 3-1 win in the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium before recording a 2-1 defeat in Conakry in the return leg at the General Lansana Conte Stadium.

However, the Tarkwa-based side has become the first Ghanaian club to play in the group stage of the tournament since Berekum Chelsea in the group stage in 2012.

Medeama SC will hope for a favourable draw to be able to progress from their group of the CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, the club have confirmed that they have reached a deal with Nguvu Mining as the new club shirt after Gold Fields Ghana cancelled their deal with the club.
