Memphis Depay in a post on his Instagram page bid farewell to Olympique Lyon today.
"Lion in Lyon @ol The club, the president, the fans, the city... thank you for everything! What a journey it was. Memories for ever! Much love," he posted on Instagram.
Depay completed his move to Barcelona after months of speculation. The now former Lyon man enjoyed an incredible career revival in France, scoring 76 goals and assisting a further 55 in 178 appearances.
It's not the first time that the Catalan club have tried to sign Dutch forward Memphis, and he looked destined to join them in January - only for the move to eventually fall through.
Depay becomes Barca’s fourth signing of the summer, following right-back Emerson to Camp Nou, as well as former Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia.
The 27-year-old is a regular for the Holland national team, where he has played under Ronald Koeman, and was in the side that finished third at the 2014 World Cup. He has already got on the scoresheet twice at the current Euro 2020.
