Michael Akoto fits well in Aarhus GF after monitoring him - Sporting Director Stig Inge Bjørnebye

According to the club's Sporting Director, Stig Inge Bjørnebye, Michael Akoto has found his perfect match at Aarhus GF.

Stig Inge Bjørnebye's observant eye has noticed Akoto's great potential after extensively monitoring the defender, opening the door for an exciting new chapter in the player's career.

Bjørnebye praised Michael Akoto's versatility and work rate on the pitch.

Aarhus GF concluded a two-year agreement with the 25-year-old Ghanaian-born German Michael Akoto, who joins the club on a free transfer.

He was released at the end of the campaign in Bundesliga 3 by Dynamo Dresden.

"Michael is a versatile player who can play both in the 6 position, in central defense and as a right back. He is physically strong, athletic and has good speed. He knows how to put his qualities on stage, and he always gives his all in matches and in training," said Bjørnebye.
