Bibiani Gold Stars head coach, Michael Osei has praised his team for their performance despite their narrow defeat to Great Olympics on Sunday.
Gold Stars were held at the Accra Sports Stadium and lost by a lone goal.
Michael Osei scored the only goal as the two-time Premier League champions recorded their first win of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Gold Stars coach, Michael Osei admitted at full time, the defeat was hard to take but lauded his players for their display.
“Let me say to my guys, better luck next time. It was a game that we controlled the game very well in all the departments," he told StarTimes.
“…But all the same I will congratulate the guys. They played well today but very unfortunate we lost the game 1-0 which is very painful for the day," he added.
Bibiani Gold Stars will host Real Tamale United in the matchday four games at DUN's Park this weekend.
