Michael Owen Predicts Weekend Success for Gunners But Warns of Long-Term Heartache

Michael Owen has predicted the score for Arsenal's Premier League tie against Bournemouth this weekend.

The former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United striker, predicted forBetvictor.comthat the Gunners will claim all three points despite their downturn in form.

Arsenal host Eddie Howe's men in North London at the Emirates and will be hoping to get back to winning ways after a lacklustre last-ditch draw against Man United last week.

They'll be going into the game on the back of a 2-2Champions League draw against French Champions Paris Saint-Germain thats left them tied top of group A.

Infact, Arsenal are on a run of three straight draws and the two in the league has left them in fourth, three points off the leaders Chelsea.

However, Owen believes that too much is being made about arsenal's inconsistency and they'll get back to winning ways against the Cherries.

Many in the media were suggesting the Gunners are inconsistent after their fortunate draw with PSG midweek “ I couldn't disagree more, the Englishman wrote.

Arsenal are excellent against inferior teams but are just short of the very best not only in Europe but in the Premier League.

They are a good side with quality players but just not good enough to win the PL or Champions League.

The Gunners were also fortunate to get a point at Old Trafford last weekend but should have enough to keep the points against the Cherries, despite the latter having picked up an excellent win at Stoke last weekend.

Arsenal host Bournmouth on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium.
