Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Frank Amankwah has set sights on scoring more goals for the club in the remaining games of the Ghana Premier League.

The 29-year-old midfielder has been a standout performer for the Miners this season despite their inconsistent performance in the Ghana Premier League.

Amankwah has managed two goals so far this season and is craving for more in the remaining games of the domestic top-flight.

“I ended last season without scoring a goal. This season, I have been able to score two goals in the second round, so I hope and pray I get more goals” he told Wontumi FM monitored by Footballghana.com.

The Miners has been inconsistent this season, winning seven games, drawing eight and losing eight after 23 matches so far this season.

With eleven games to end the season, Goldstars find themselves on the 13th position on the Premier League standings with 29 points.

Bibiani Goldstars faces a daunting task this weekend as they travel to the capital, Accra to lock horns with Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League.
