Salim Adams, a new Edubiase United midfielder, has joined Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak for an unknown price, according to footballmadeinghana.com.

The 19-year-old has agreed to a two-year contract with the Phobians and will join the team as soon as they begin their CAF Champions League preparations.

Salim, who was part of the Ghana U20 team that won the WAFU U20 Championship in Benin last year, has been picked as the ideal successor for outgoing combative midfielder Benjamin Afutu.

Salim, who has great passing skills and is one of the finest passers in the game, is poised to put on a display for the Phobians that they haven't seen in decades.

Salim was a key figure in New Edubiase United's Division One League campaign this season, and he has attracted the attention of many European teams.

After Agyenim Boateng, Enock Asubonteng, Kofi Kordzi, and Gladson Awako, Salim becomes Hearts of Oaks' fifth signing.
