Mohammed Gargo urges midfielder Baba Idrissu to quit Real Mallorca

Formr Ghana international, Baba Idrissu has has ben urged to leave relegated side Real Mallorca ahead of the new season.

Idrissu has been linked to number of clubs in Europe following impressive season in the just ended La Liga season.

And according to Gargo, the 24 year old must push for a move away from Mallorca, to a much more recognized league.

"I think he [Baba Idrissu] should move,” he told Citi Sports.

"This is a great opportunity for him to take the next step in his career after what he did last season.

"If a club like Atletico Madrid has contacted him, then it means they’ve scored him and are aware of what he can do. He should leave.”

He is being considered by Atletico Madrid as a possible replacement for compatriot, Thomas Partey, should the latter leave this summer according to reports in Spain.

Baba Idrissu made 36 appearances for Mallorca last season, and has one of the highest ball recovery ratings in the La Liga.
