Mohammed Kudus excel for Ajax on Eredivisie debut

Teenage sensation, Mohammed Kudus marked his Eredivisie debut on Sunday afternoon during Ajax Amsterdam’s emphatic 3-0 win against RKC Waalwijk.

The two top-flight clubs were in action at the Johan Cruijff Arena today to fight for 3 points on Matchday 2 of the 2020/2021 Dutch Eredivisie season.

Having missed his team’s season opener last week, Mohammed Kudus was handed a starting role today to face RKC Waalwijk.

The Ghana international enjoyed a very good game and impacted positively to help Ajax cruise to a deserved 3-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.

On the matchday, Dusan Tadic and Zakaria Labyad scored in the first half for the winners before Lisandro Martinez added the final goal in the second half.

Despite picking up a yellow card in the second half, Mohammed Kudus finished the game with high marks and earned the ‘Man of the Match’ award as well.
