Ghana star, Mohammed Kudus started his first match in the English Premier League on Sunday afternoon when West Ham United hosted Everton.
Unfortunately, the much-awaited moment for the Black Stars forward did not have a happy ending.
West Ham United had a bad day at the office and suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Everton at the end of the 90 minutes.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Mohammed Kudus described the defeat as disappointing but assured West Ham fans that he would always give his best for the team.
“I know my capabilities and I know what I can do. I believe in myself so I’m here and taking in as much information as I can and I try to put it in my game to help the team,” Mohammed Kudus said.
He continued, “It’s very disappointing. We want to win every game but this is done now and we focus on the next game.
“We will learn from this and focus on the next game.”
