The MTN FA Cup committee has directed clubs in the Round 16 stage not to charge women and children that will troop to the various match venues to watch the games.
This is contained in a communique published on the website of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
“Women and Children Under-15 years would be granted free entry at various venues in this weekend's MTN FA Cup Round of 16 matches.
“This follows a decision by the FA Cup Committee to open the gates free of charge ONLY for Women and Children below the age of 15,” parts of the GFA statement said on Wednesday, February 22.
It added, “Fans who do not fall within this category will however have to purchase match tickets at very affordable rates at the match venues.
Meanwhile, all Round 16 clubs are entreated to provide an entertaining atmosphere at their match venues before kick-off, during halftime, and after the matches.
The home teams for this round of the competition are expected to announce ticket prices before the end of Friday, February 24.
