Mubarak Alhassan, a forward, has announced his unwavering readiness to don the revered jersey of the Black Meteors.

With unparalleled talent and an unyielding passion for the beautiful game, Alhassan stands poised to make an indelible mark on Ghana's u-23 national football team.

“I am ready whenever my country calls I’ve got no option because I am always ready to play for the national team. I am ready (for the national team) whenever I am called,” he told Citi Sports.

Alhassan, a former player for Liberty Professionals, missed the qualifications due to injury, but he has since recovered and is prepared to help the Meteors in their bid to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Black Meteors qualified to the 2023 CAF U23 AFCON with a 2-1 aggregate win over Algeria.

The 2023 AFCON u-23 competition will take place from June 24 to July 8, and Ghana has been placed in Group A with the host nation Morocco, Guinea, and Congo.
