Hearts of Oak youngster Salim Adams believes the presence of experienced Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari at the club can help his development.

Adams joined the Phobians on loan before the start of the 2021/22 campaign from New Edubiase, scoring three goals in 26 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup.

He was in action when Hearts shared the spoils with Kotoko last Sunday.

Speaking to the Phobianews.com, the New Edubiase owned player disclosed the presence of Muntari will help him to develop in order to meet the exigencies of modern game.

"It’s been perfect. I just come in every day and get on with it. It’s a great bunch of talented players here and everyone knows what we want to do as a club," Adams told phobianews.com

"Sulley Muntari is here – an experienced player, someone I can learn from and get the experience required to meet the exigencies of the modern game."

"I know I can keep getting better and the type of players I have as my teammates can help me do that, along with the gaffer and the coaching staff.

"I will learn from them, see what they do on and off the field so I can try to be the best I can be.

The 19-year-old says he joined the Ghanaian giants to win laurels.

"I signed for Hearts because I know it’s a club with ambition that wants to win silverware and it’s great to be part of it."
