Ghana and the rest of the world are today, Wednesday, February 22, continuing the mourning of late Black Stars winger Christian Atsu.

In memory and in honour of the former Chelsea FC forward, a mural of the player has been painted at the Awudu Issaka Park in Tema Community 20.

He becomes only the second player in the country whose mural has been designed in the last few months. The only other player is Mohammed Kudus whose mural is in Nima.

Christian Atsu is continuously dominating the news after he was found dead under the rubble of the Turkey earthquake last Saturday.

His mortal remains have since arrived in Ghana from Turkey through a collaboration between the Turkish government and government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

Since Monday, a number of people have visited the family house of Christian Atsu to mourn him and sign the book of condolence opened in his honour.
