My coaching style is not to concede goals - Medeama coach Evans Adotey

Medeama head coach, Evans Adotey, lays bare his distinctive coaching philosophy: a total commitment to defensive solidity.

With an emphasis on impregnability at the back, Adotey's approach seeks to stop opponents and secure victories through a fortress-like defense.

The Yellow and Mauves inflicted a narrow win over Nations FC at the Akoon Community, courtesy of Kamaradin Mamudu’s decisive goal in the 62nd minute mark.

The talented right-back tapped in from close range to separate the two teams at the Akoon Community Park.

Speaking after the game, Evans Adotey stated he prefers victories with no goals conceded.

"I am one coach my goalkeeper is here he will tell you I like keeping clean sheet more than scoring 3-2, scoring 4-2 or scoring 2-1," he said.

"I like 1-0, 2-0, I don't like 3-1, 3-2 that is my coaching style and thankfully if we have scored 1 and didn't concede it is good," he added.

The champions have jumped to 11th on the table with 7 points from five games with one outstanding game left to spare.

The defeat has left the Premier League new boys in the drop zone with five points from six matches.
