My focus is to help Tamale City to escape relegation - Sampson Eduku

Sampson Eduku, a striker for Tamale City FC, has dismissed reports that he has spoken with Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak about a transfer.

According to reports in the local media, Eduku has been contacted by the administration of the two Ghana Premier League clubs as a result of his fantastic performance for Tamale City this season.

Sampson Eduku, who is currently in fantastic form, refuted the story in an interview with Stephen Kwame Yeboah of Connect FM in Takoradi. He emphasized that his main goal is to help Tamale City avoid relegation.

“There’s no contact from Hearts of Oak and Kotoko yet, but my focus now is to help Tamale City to escape relegation. My future will be decided at the end of the season,” Eduku said

The former Karela United striker has nine goals for Tamale City this season and is a strong candidate for the Ghana Premier League topscorer honor.

Tamale City will take on Berekum Chelsea in their next league game.
