Najau Issah joins Asante Kotoko as new goalkeeper's trainer

Asante Kotoko have announced the appointment of Najau Issah Laskaya as the club's new goalkeepers' trainer.

Najau is joining the Kumasi-based club ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.

His arrival has saw the demotion of Asante Kotoko long-standing technical staff namely Joe Baah and Sampson Appiah from their position as the club's goalkeepers' coaches.

Najau has previously handled Wa All-Stars, Black Queen’s, Black Maidens, Black Princesses and the Black Stars B.

He joins the Porcupine Warriors from fellow Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities.

He will also work as the goalkeeper's coach for the senior national team of Ghana under Coach CK Akonnor.

Kotoko will begin their Ghana Premier League season with a home game against Techiman Eleven Wonders and will represent the country in this year's Caf Champions League.
