Najeeb Yakubu resumes training with Voskla Poltava teammates after Covid-19 break

Ghanaian teenager Najeeb Yakubu has resumed training with his Voskla Poltava teammates ahead of the resumption of football in Ukraine.

There has not been active football in the country for the last two months as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

Due to an improvement in the situation, clubs have been given the clear to return to training while observing laid down safety protocols.

On Thursday morning, Ghana’s Najeeb Yakubu was part of players of Voskla Poltava who resumed training.

In a post on the Twitter page of the 20-year-old, he has expressed his delight to be back to training at his club once again.

“Happy to be back to work”, the teenager posted.

Najeeb Yakubu hopes to make a good account of himself in training in order to enjoy regular playing time in Voskla Poltava colous when the league competitions in Ukraine gets going.
