Nations FC forward Richard Danso has declared his outfit readiness ahead of their game against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The Abrankese-based club faces the Porcupine Warriors in an away fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.
Nations FC have made a significant impact in their maiden Premier League campaign after 22 matches so far. Kasim Mingles side currently sit second on the league standings with 37 points, two points behind log leaders Samartex.
Speaking ahead of their clash with Kotoko, the former WAFA attacker indicated his objective is to secure a win or draw against Asante Kotoko.
“We played out a 2-2 draw with Kotoko on home turf in the first leg but it could be that we can go to Baba Yara and beat them. We are mentally and physically ready for the game on Sunday. we go and pick a point over there, defeat is out of the context”
“I will entreat our fans to rally behind us ahead of this crucial game” he said.
It promises to be a thrilling encounter between Kotoko and Nations FC as both teams will be yearning for maximum points.
Kotoko will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after succumbing to three consecutive defeats in the top-flight.
