Speaking after the game, Evans Adotey stated that Nations FC made his team work extra hard for the three points.

“We just saw Nations FC against Kotoko three days back 2-2 scoreline so engaging Nations FC here I have gone back to 2 months back we played them in one of our pre competition games ahead of our Africa game against Remo Stars in Cape Coast," he said.

"They beat us 2-1 so was I saw in that game and what went on against Kotoko I said to myself we going to face a tough team truly that is what I saw.

"But what I will say is our hard work made us carry the day and I am delighted,"
