'New challenge, same goal' - Ibrahim Ayew reacts to Lincoln Red Imps move

Former Black Stars defender Ibrahim Ayew has expressed his delight after securing a move to Lincoln Red Imps ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 season.

The veteran player, who previously played for Asante Kotoko SC, has joined the Red and Whites in Gibraltar.

Ayew's transfer to Lincoln Red Imps comes after a successful stint with FCB Magpies, another Gibraltar-based team.

The 35-year-old defender caught the attention of the Red Imps' management with his impressive performances, prompting them to secure his signature for the upcoming campaign.

Taking to Instagram to announce his move, Ayew wrote, "New chapter, new challenge, same goal. Alhamdulilah. Let's go Lincoln Red Imps."
