New-look Black Stars offers hope after Brazil friendly ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup

Ghanaians have been offered some hope ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup thanks to improved second-half performance in the friendly match against Brazil.

Ahead of the tournament, the Black Stars squad has been strengthened with the addition of some new players.

Besides Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams, all the other new players are very young players who have proven to have a lot of quality as well.

The new-look Black Stars have the likes of Mohammed Salisu, Tariq Lamptey, Antoine Semenyo, Ransford Yeboah, and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh as some of the young players drafted into the team.

Already, young players such as Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku are in the team.

The trio has been backed as the future of the Ghana national team as they are yet to reach their potential.

With the new additions to the team, the new-look Black Stars promise hope for the nation.

Some of the new players including Inaki Williams, Tariq Williams, and Mohammed Salisu were second-half substitutes today when Ghana faced off with Brazil in a friendly match.

The new players gave a good account to provide some bit of hope that the team can do better with hard work.

Up next for Ghana, the Black Stars will take on Nicaragua in another friendly match on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

At the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ghana is in Group H and will face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea in the group stages.
