Newcastle United join long list of suitors for Mohammed Kudus

Premier League side Newcastle United are interested in acquiring Nordsjaelland star Mohammed Kudus for next summer, footballghana.com can exclusively report.

The 19 year old has hugely impressed suitors this season with amazing displays. He has scored nine goals and assisted one in 19 Danish top flight league matches this season.

Fernerbache and Galatasaray are already making moves for the player and two German sides in Dortmund and Frankfurt have been mentioned as potential destinations. In England, Everton have already shown interest in the player and in France, a host of clubs including Rennes wants to sign him.

Footballghana.com understands that Newcastle would want to bring the youngster in right after the takeover is complete but competition from several other clubs plus the playing time requirements of the player will be a major stumbling block.

Nordsjaelland will take a fee in the region of 8 million to 11 million euros for the player, an amount deemed cheap considering the adverse impact of the coronavirus.

Kudus scored on his debut for the Black Stars in November 2019.
