Ghana midfielder Daniel Amartey could not outshine his former colleague Ngolo Kante in midfield during Chelsea's game with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Amartey's side lost 3-0 to Chelsea with goals from Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Victor Moses.
Any suggestion that Amartey could be the Kante replacement Leicester were looking for ended with the direct comparison. Struggled to break up play.
Amartey lasted the entire duration of the game with Ghanaian compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp who made his first Premier League start this season coming off in the second half.
For Leicester City it was was a fourth loss in eight league games in a poor start to its title defense.
