Vice Chairman of the Black Stars management committee Wilfred Osei has stated that Youth and Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuaye cannot call off the Ghana-South Africa international friendly.
The Black Stars are schedule to play Bafana Bafana in Durban on October 11 after their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda on October 7.
Nii Lantey in a radio interaction noted that, his outfit will not approve the friendly following what he describes as ' we are not getting anything out of that friendly'
Wilfred Osei who doubles as an executive committee member of the GFA says Nii Lantey cannot stop the team from playing the friendly.
"Nobody can cancel the friendly match between South Africa and Ghana except the two football associations in the respective countries,' he told Accra based Happy FM
'Not even the Minister of Youth and Sports can stop the match.'
