Yacouba has two months left on his contract and demands an annual signing-on fee of $100,000 from the club before he pens a contract extension.

The Burkinabe forward and the management of Porcupine Warriors are currently in negotiations to renew his contract, having failed to agree on a deal on two occasions.

Nkana is believed to be willing to pay him the amount he is demanding should Kotoko fail to meet his demands.

It was rumoured that Super League side were chasing the signature of the 27-year-old last year following his impressive performances 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup.

Yacouba put up an incredible display against both the Zambian giants Nkana and Zesco in their group C encounters.
