Nurnberg axe Huddersfield target Abdelhamid Sabiri to reserves

Published on: 05 August 2017

Nurnberg midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri has been dumped to the reserve-team as Huddersfield Town push to sign him.

The Terriers and Nurnberg are in deadlock over a deal for Sabiri, with the Premier League new boys eager not to pay more than €450,000.

The 20 year-old has made it clear wants to see the move happen and as such, has been axed to the reserves.

Nurnberg coach Michael Kollner said, "The situation was clearly answered by the club, so now he has to return to the track. On the weekend it will be hard for him.

"One or the other professional will be in the U21s again."
