Hearts of Oak new signing Nuru Sulley has disclosed that he joined the clubs because he wants to repay them for the help they gave him at the beginning of his career.

The former Ghana u-20 defender played for the Phobians in the Ghana Premier League between 2011 and 2014 before he secured a transfer to Libyan top-flight club Al-Nasr Benghazi.

Now back in the West African country after 6 years, Nuru Sulley has made a sensational return to Hearts of Oak where he has joined as a free agent.

Speaking in an interview, the center-back who can also play as a defensive midfielder has shared that he wants to help the team with the experience he gathered while playing outside the country.

"Many clubs held talks with me but I chose Accra Hearts of Oak simply because they have helped me in diverse ways.

"Hearts of Oak once gave me the platform, so the time is due for me to also help them achieve their aims with the little experience I have", Sulley shared.

He is one of as many as 6 new players the Rainbow team has signed and will play a key role when the Ghana Premier League season resumes.
