Leeroy Owusu, a Dutch-born Ghanaian defender, has expressed his excitement after completing a move to Danish Superliga club Odense Boldklub.

The 26-year-old player, who recently became a free agent after his contract with Dutch second-tier club Willem II Tilburg expired, has signed a three-year deal with Odense.

"I am happy to now switch to Odense Boldklub. I have had some good discussions with the management, who were very clear and well-informed about me," Owusu stated.

Having begun his football journey at the age of seven in the AFC Ajax academy, Owusu developed his skills until reaching the U21 level.

He then went on to represent various Dutch clubs, including De Graafschap, Excelsior, and most recently Willem II, where he gained valuable experience.

With over 300 appearances in the top Dutch leagues, including 99 matches in the prestigious Eredivisie, Owusu brings a wealth of experience and versatility to Odense Boldklub's defense.
