Ghanaian attacker, Daniel Kofi-Kyereh was on target on Sunday afternoon when his FC St. Pauli outfit started off the 2021/2022 German Bundesliga 2 season with a win over Holstein Kiel.
The forward was one of the best players at the club last season when they missed out on promotion to play in the top-flight league.
With the season starting this weekend, FC St. Pauli have set sight on enjoying a successful campaign to achieve that dream.
At the Millerntor Stadion this afternoon, Daniel Kofi-Kyereh started in attack when his side hosted Holstein Kiel in the first game of the campaign.
On the matchday, FC St. Pauli got off on a bright note and equalized through Leart Paqarada after just 11 minutes to take the lead.
Later in the second half, Finn Becker assisted Daniel Kofi-Kyereh to open his account for the season before Guido Burgstaller also equalized late in the game to seal a 3-0 win for FC St. Pauli at the end of the game.
