Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Tamale City FC have confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Abdul Wahid as the new head coach for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
Wahid has signed a two-year deal with the Citizens.
The 37-year-old former Legon Cities coach will replace Hamza Mohammed – who qualified the team to the top-flight – due to the Coaching License A certificate requirement.
He is expected to be assisted by Hamza Mohammed.
Tamale City will open their season with an away game against Karela United at CAM Park.
The 2022/23 season will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 9, 2022, to Monday across the country.
