Dutch-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Derrick Luckassen has signed for Turkish Super Lig side Kasimpasa for the rest of the season.

The centre-back last summer secured a season-long loan move to Belgian giants Anderlecht from PSV Eindhoven.

Although he had a good start, he subsequently lost his place and struggled for playing time in the final months to the end of the first half of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

Having forced a return to PSV, Derrick Luckassen has now secured another loan move. He has now been signed by Turkish top-flight club Kasimpasa where he will hope to be a regular.

“Derrick Luckassen in Kasimpasa. 25-year-old Dutch stopper Derrick Luckassen, wearing the uniform of PSV Eindhoven, one of the Dutch league teams, signed the contract that connects him to Kasimpasa on loan until the end of the season, at the signing ceremony where our Sports Director Emir Saraç was also present after his health checks at the Medical Park Hospital, our health sponsor,” the Turkish club has said today.

Luckassen has sight on working hard to ensure he finds his fight to enjoy a strong end to the 2020/2021 football season.
