Olympic Marseille to turn to Barcelona's Juan Miranda if they fail to land Baba Rahman

According to reports, French Ligue 1 side, Olympic Marseille will go after Barcelona’s Juan Miranda if they fail in their quest to sign Ghanaian international Baba Rahman from Chelsea.

The Ligue 1 outlet has been strongly linked with the Blues left-back following his impressive stint with Stade de Reims during the second half of the 2018/2019 season.

With his transfer to the club not likely to happen, Marseille has identified Barcelona’s young left-back as a good buy in place of Baba.

Miranda who is now 19 years old plays for the reserves side of the La Liga champions and made three appearances - all in the King's Cup - for the First Team last season.

Nonetheless, Baba Rahman remains the first choice target for the Les Phocéens who sees him as the man to strengthen their defense ahead of the upcoming season.

Olympic Marseille is set to intensify talks with Chelsea in the coming days in a bid to poach the Ghanaian to France.
