The head coach of Great Olympics, Bismark Kobi-Mensah has opened up on how his team managed to stop Asante Kotoko on Thursday afternoon.

According to him, defender Christopher Nettey played a key role.

The gaffer and his team hosted the Porcupine Warriors at the WAFA Park in Sogakope yesterday in a Week 28 encounter of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

At the end of an exciting contest, Great Olympics scored twice in the first half to secure a 2-0 win.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah indicated that his team secured the win because they were tactically better than the opponent.

“Tactically, we stopped them from playing in the first half. We have a certain operational work to Christopher Nettey and it worked. We won the game through tactical grounds,” the young tactician said.

Following the win, Great Olympics have climbed out of the relegation zone with Asante Kotoko still out of the top four of the Ghana Premier League standings.
