The owner of Asante Kotoko SC, Otumfour Osei Tutu II has renewed his faith in the CEO of the club Dr. Kwame Kyei.
The Asantehene praised Dr. Kyei for the good work he has done so far and hoped that he will continue it by helping the club to win more trophies.
Otumfour stressed that Dr. Kyei has no time limit at the helm of affairs at Kotoko as far as he gets the job done so that he(Otumfour) will also have peace.
“When I First gave you the club, I asked that you should appoint those you can work with because I wasn’t going to impose anyone on you and I must say, I feel at peace now . because you don’t just come here with any issues or any debt.” Otumfour stated during the team’s visit to Manhyia.
“You only come here and check up on me occasionally and go back to your work. I don’t want to be hearing people saying that Nana, his three-year period has expired. You have no time limit, whether its 10 years or 20 years, just go and do the work and let me be at peace. You are always welcome here when you are wining trophies for the club. ”
The Asantehene also called on the supporters of the club to unite and rally the club and stop the backbiting attitude.
“And to the supporters and the various circles, I’m calling on you to unite and support the club to reach it height.” he added.
