Otumfuo grants Kwesi Appiah permission to take Sudan national team coaching job

Former Black Stars head coach, James Kwesi Appiah has been granted permission to accept his new coaching job in Sudan.

Early this month, your most trusted online portal reported that the experienced tactician has been offered the Sudan male national team head coaching job.

As a show of respect to Asante Kotoko and Life Patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, James Kwesi Appiah sought permission before taking the jobs.

After weeks of deliberation, an official club announcement has come today indicating that the former Ghana international has been granted permission to take the role.

This will be the second time James Kwesi Appiah will be working in Sudan. In the past, he was head coach of the Sudanese top-flight club Al Khartoum.

Meanwhile, Coach James Kwesi Appiah retains his position as the Technical Director of Asante Kotoko.
