Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko striker Edward Afum has stated that if the energy levels of the Black Galaxies are high the team will be able to beat Sudan.

Afum added that Ghana has to possess the ball more and hold on to the ball more to ensure total victory.

The Black Galaxies were beaten 2-1 in their first group game. Augustine Agyapong scored Ghana's only goal in the game, his goal was assisted by substitute Simba.

A defeat against the Sudanese will see the Black Galaxies exit the tournament early.

Edward Afum who played in Sudan in 2011 in an interview with Happy FM said:

"The Sudan top-flight league is very competitive. Comparing it to Ghana, their league is very competitive, and they are ahead of us in everything,"

"If Ghana will win this game, they have to possess the ball more times, and our energy levels must be high. We must hold on to the ball and possess more than them.Affum added, In our first game, things didnt go as planned, and we were unlucky,"

"Complacency also set in because we thought we were playing against Madagascar. If the team does the right thing against Sudan, we will win."
