Parliamentary Select Committee for Sports meets Normalisation Committee and GHALCA

A meeting between the stakeholders, Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee and Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) with Parliamentary Select Committee for Sports, Youth and Culture was held to deliberate on the way forward for Ghana football.

Following a stakeholder meeting which was chaired by Hon.Alex Agyekum was centered on the resumption of the Special Competition and other football related activities. The meeting ended successfully with all parties going in one accord to proceed with the competition sooner, meanwhile date will be communicated in due time.

"The meeting was centered on the Special Competition to be organized by the GFA Normalization Committee to precede the resumption of football related activities in the country. The Ministry is working closely with the GFA Normalization committee and the clubs to draw up a roadmap for the competition, taking into consideration the enormous contributions from both sides".

"An announcement on the date of commencement of the competition will be communicated to the public in due course", statement from the Ministry of Youth and Sports reads.
