JJS Sports, the agency that represents Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey has once again rejected reports of links to Arsenal.
Jacob Partey, Thomas' father initially said that the club is in negotiations with his son but the agency quickly denied that statement.
In recent days, Thomas Partey directed his followers on instagram to read a statement made by his agent.
It read: ‘[The] father of Thomas Partey might have said something but can we also put aside and respect the official communication from his management, JJS Sports.'
‘The fact is that, any statement heard was an opinion clearly misinterpreted to suit a particular agenda. There has been nothing officially communicated or no such conversations between the player and anybody.'
‘There is absolutely no truth in what the player’s dad was alleged to have said.’
Partey has been a key player for Diego Simeone this season, playing 38 matches in all competitions.
