PHOTO: Bayern Munich's Twitter Account Absolutely Roasts Arsenal After 5-1 Champions League Drubbing

Published on: 15 February 2017

If Arsenal fans thought they could hide away from their side's Champions League humiliation to Bayern Munich, they were wrong.

Talk of the 5-1 thumping Arsene Wenger's men received on Wednesday will drag on until they're officially dumped out of the knockout stages in a few weeks' time, and the digs had already begun just 25 minutes after the full-time whistle had been blown.

Known for their cheeky social media postings, Bayern's official Twitter account started the mocking with this gloriously amusing tweet about their continuing Champions League battles with Arsenal:

Same again next year? #UCL #FCBARS 5-1 pic.twitter.com/nyErNKd2a4

The Premier League side have had to face the Bundesliga giants at the last-16 stage three times in the past five seasons, and have been knocked out of the continental competition on each occasion by the Barvaria-based outfit, so this tweet will certainly take the biscuit with Arsenal fans across the globe.

Not one to miss a beat, other football supporters also saw fit to stick the boot in on Wenger and his boys after Bayern posted their brutal tweet:

@FCBayernEN Bayern have the best Twitter admins, hands down.

Arsenal fans: We'll let you know when it's safe to come out of your caves again, don't worry.
