While Real Madrid's 3-1 win over Osasuna on Saturday nightproved to be a great game in its own right, the match was overshadowed due to a nasty injury to centre-back Tano Bonnin.

The 26-year-old went to challenge Real's Isco in an tough looking tackle, but his leg jarred and bent into a sickening position, leaving theDominican Republic international writhing on the floor and calling for a stretcher.

It immediately looked as if Tano had broken his leg as medics were called onto the pitch. The challenge itself looked nothing worse than committed, but both sets of players were visibly shocked and upsetat seeing the injury.

While Osasuna look certain to be relegated at the end of the season, given that they are currently bottom of La Liga having played a game more than most of their relegation rivals, let's hope that Tana is back on the pitch sooner than expected.
